Discovering Hidden Jobs for the Unemployed in Montréal
In the scope of the Inter-CDEC project for better harmonization of labour, two new workers are now hard at work at the CDEC to help people receiving unemployment benefits to find jobs.
The Local Initiatives Budget (BIL) is an envelope to support projects targeting employability development and the preparation and promotion of labour. It can also be used to support pilot projects related to major issues in the labour sector.
On March 24, the CDEC, in partnership with Emploi-Québec, hosted a breakfast meeting to discuss local hiring at the Marie-Léonie Paradis room at Saint-Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal.
