The Centrale des entrepreneurs consists of a Facebook page for young entrepreneurs in the West Island, Lachine, Outremont, Town of Mount Royal, Westmount and Côte-des-Neiges/Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
Workers from the CDEC and the three LDCs in the above-mentioned places have combined their efforts to provide young entrepreneurs with a place to exchange information, get advice and soon, to carry out networking activities, through a Linkedin community. Today, the Centrale des entrepreneurs has almost 100 members and all entrepreneurs, stakeholders, residents and local elected officials are cordially invited to become members of this unique group in Montréal.
In the latest edition of Premium magazine, dedicated to the influence of social media, Manon Arcand, a professor at UQAM's management sciences school, explained that only 12% of Canadian businesses are on Facebook, while 45% of Canadians have adopted social media. This means that social media has revolutionized the means of communication, and anyone can get on it any time they want. In other words, the success of social media resides in a sustained relationship with the targeted public. That is why the CDEC invites all its members to join the Centrale des entrepreneurs, especially to learn about our young entrepreneurs. |
