In the scope of Entrepreneurship Week 2010, the CDEC invited some 30 Montréal stakeholders from the entrepreneurial sector to the book launch of TPE en difficulté : comment se tirer d'affaire (in French only).
The book will support business counsellors in their work with the heads of micro businesses by suggesting an approach adapted to their needs. Following up on the work carried out by Projet entrepreneuriat Montréal, the CDEC had suggested a reflection on how to increase the capacity of business counsellors to respond to entrepreneurs' needs. Our objective was to share our knowledge by providing a common tool to develop the skills of both business managers and counsellors working in front-line organizations. The book is the result of a remarkable collaboration between Brahim Allali, consultant and professor at HEC Montréal, and Abdellah Azami, Business Counsellor at the CDN/NDG CDEC. Since its publication, it has been receiving positive comments from a number of people in Montréal specializing in the entrepreneurship sector, and the idea of offering this tool online through our internet site was approved unanimously. |
