At the latest meeting of the Board of Directors, the members present authorized two investments from the social economy fund of a total value of $100,000. The first project is an investment of $50,000 for leasehold improvements to the CPE de la Côte, in order to open 20 new places, including five for babies. The second project was an investment of $50,000 to start up the Goal soccer school, a social economy enterprise located in Côte-des-Neiges, with the mission of developing the potential of youth in this district, paying special attention to those facing financial barriers. The promoters plan to set up a foundation to pay the registration expenses for a dozen young players per year.
