The Côte-des-Neiges/Notre-Dame-de-Grâce CDEC plans to invest $45,000 in the social economy enterprise Au pois chic-La cuisine de NDG, to support their activities and create promotional tools.

The mission of Au pois chic-La cuisine de NDG is to develop activities and services to ensure food security for a greater number of citizens in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and the surrounding area. The enterprise has both an economic and social objective. Economically, it seeks to create sustainable employment in the food services and restaurant sector. Socially, its goal is to help people in the district who are experiencing food insecurity. Au pois chic-La cuisine de NDG provides hot meals to workers at the MAB-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre, hot meals (meals on wheels) to the elderly who are losing their autonomy, a community meal service and a community catering service.
