On September 11, the ninth edition of Côte-des-Neiges en fête, 5 continents, 5 sens was once more a complete success.
On this beautiful sunny day, almost 14,000 people strolled along the two kilometres of Côte-des-Neiges Road from Queen Mary Road to Kent Park to discover the talents and magic of the artists present there. For the past nine years, the Côte-des-Neiges en fête, 5 continents, 5 sens event has celebrated the diversity, cultural richness and social cohesion of Côte-des-Neiges and its residents, and their contribution to Montréal's economy. Throughout the sidewalk sale (from September 8 to 11) and a full day of free activities, business and community groups worked together to ensure the success of this great neighbourhood party. The coordination committee would like to thank Marilou Tétreault, responsible for programming, and the three student employees, Ève Paquette-Bigras, responsible for logistics, Catherine Legault, communications and sponsorship, and Émilie Duranceau, volunteer coordinator, for their excellent work and dedication. We also wish to thank the volunteers and partners who supported us in this ninth edition. On the eve of its 10th edition, Côte-des-Neiges en fête, 5 continents, 5 sens, is the image of a unique and exceptional community in the Montréal landscape.
