CÔTE-DES-NEIGES EN FËTE, 5 CONTINENTS, 5 SENS

The CDEC participates in organising the 6th edition of a business showcase and street event called "Côte-des-Neiges en Fête, 5 continents, 5 sens". This years theme is "Les métiers d'hier à aujourd'hui" in the contexte of Côte-des-Neiges 310th anniversary.

The event focusses on music, danse and visual arts, as well as on the history of the neighbourhood. The event includs street animation and information kiosks put together by local community groups.

Businesses along Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges will sell goods on the sidewalk, restaurants will serve food outdoors, artists will demonstrate their savoir faire and community groups will presente their activities outdoors.

This initiative represents a massive collective effort to celebrate Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood.

The 2008 event takes place on Sunday, September 7th from 12am to 5pm and the sidewalk sale from the 4th to the 7th. Events will unfold over the entire length of Côte-des-Neiges Road, from Queen Mary Road to Jean-Talon Street.
